We are manufacturer of various drawing capstans, rollers and cones for all single and multiwire drawing application. For our combined steel-ceramic design in zirconium oxide we exclusively use high grade ceramic material. The ceramic materials distinguish themselves by the extreme high wear resistant, high density, ultra small grain structure, and super polished and pore free surface. Depending on the application we can equip the drawing capstans and cones in various materials, material combination, and coatings:

For applications in Rod break down lines we deliver various capstans in size and geometerical design. We manufacture capstanes in various: Materials: Cast/Steel coated, Steel hardened steel, ceramics Sizes: Diameter up to approvimately 1.200mm Coatings: Hard metal, various ceramic coatings Innovative products at VT Kaempfer are a result of a permanent dialogue and close cooperation with our customers. With the fi rst bi-conical drawing capstans for Rod break down lines and the further development for series production VT-Kämpfer proved its know-how and innovation skills in the wire and cable industry, since more than 40 years.

We offer a specifi c developed wire guide pulley assortment in standardized sizes from 25 mm to 1,200 mm OD. Our standard guide pulleys assortment includes kaskading pulleys for secure wire guiding and pulleys with cylindrical ground for multi wire applications. We manufacture guide pulleys in different geometrical shapes and of different materials: Aluminum with high wear resistant coatings Steel with high wear resistant coating Harden steel Special designs in combined steel/ceramic or solid ceramic made of alumina, zirconium, or silica oxide ceramic Depending on the application we manufacture well proven and high wear resistant coatings electrically conductive or non-conductive.

We manufacture numerous high precision contact tubes and wire guide rollers for resistance annealers in OEM quality. Wire guide rollers are mostly made out of aluminum, electrically non-conductive coated with ceramic. Contact tubes are made out of precision cut steel cylinders with a high thickness nickel coating. We are completing our product portfolio with miscellaneous wear parts for all applications for the wire and cable industry. The assortment on the miscellaneous part includes: Guiding parts manufactured in ceramic or hard metal materials Eyelets Ceramic pins and guide rods Shaving dies for Cu wire Wear parts for stranding bows

Supplementary to our assortment of new manufactured parts we offer our custo mers repair and refurbishing services for used drawing tools. Repair or refurbishing has proven to be a highly appreciated and cost effi cient complememt to new parts. Depending on the wear stage oft the respective tool our repair and refurbishment services we are able to extend the lifetime of tools by: Regrinding / Polishing New coating Repair of worn out parts made of combined steel-ceramic tooling
